Job Summary
The Finance and Accounting Manager oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, reporting, and staff supervision. This role requires extensive experience in logistics or freight forwarding to ensure accurate financial management and regulatory compliance. The position reports directly to the VP and General Manager.

Job Details
Primary Function:
Oversees the Finance & Accounting Department, reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager and President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage finance and accounting operations, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise staff performance and ensure timely, accurate outputs.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, payroll, financial reports, and company funds.
- Coordinate audits and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and government reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments and represent the company in external financial matters.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of Finance & Accounting experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.
