Cost Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a Cost Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in electrical manufacturing to join our team in Quezon City and Valenzuela. The role involves cost estimating, project budget monitoring, cost control, and financial analysis. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering license and be ready to start as soon as possible.

Job Details
Cost estimating:
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns for projects based on project specifications, material quantities, labor rates, and other relevant factors.
- Prepare accurate project budgets and cost forecasts.
- Analyze market trends and cost drivers to inform estimations.
Cost control:
- Monitor project expenditures against the approved budget.
- Identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions.
- Track and analyze cost variances to understand deviations from the budget.
Project planning:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation plans.
- Identify potential risks and mitigation strategies related to project costs.
Reporting and analysis:
- Generate regular cost reports for stakeholders, highlighting key cost trends and issues.
- Perform cost-benefit analysis to evaluate project alternatives.
- Provide insights to inform decision-making on cost optimization.

Salary: 20k to 23k

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering - lic. holder
- With at least 3 years experience in electrical manufacturing costing
- Willing to take overtime
- Can start asap, age 24 to 35
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in cost estimating software and project management tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of construction practices and industry standards
- Knowledge of financial principles and budgeting techniques
