Senior Financial Accountant

Role: Senior Financial Accountant Work Arrangement: Work from Office Location: Philippines - Angeles (Pampanga) Schedule: Morning Shift Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant with strong end-to-end accounting experience to support the financial operations of Australian entities. This role requires someone who is confident across the full accounting cycle, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities - Manage end-to-end accounting processes including general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end close. - Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies. - Prepare and review financial reports and supporting schedules. - Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. - Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies. - Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure financial data is accurate and up to date. - Support audits by preparing required documentation and reconciliation schedules. - Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper recording in accounting systems. - Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Strong experience in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting. - Proven experience performing bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations. - Experience working with Australian companies or Australian accounting standards is required. - Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience - Experience supporting Australian businesses in a remote or offshore environment. - Familiarity with common Australian accounting platforms (e.g., Xero, MYOB, NetSuite, or similar).
