Software Developer

Responsibilities: - Code, modify, test, and document new and existing programs using assigned languages and tools following coding conventions to ensure quality deliverables. - Prepare and document test data to validate program functionality and accuracy. - Set up and maintain testing and production environments to support application deployment. - Develop and update program and system documentation to facilitate maintenance and user understanding. - Assist in defining file structures and processing logic requirements to support application functionality. - Produce deliverables that comply with group standards and procedures to maintain consistency and quality. - Support Project Leaders by contributing to application system study, design, work coordination, project management, and user training. - Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues during application implementation and maintenance. - Train contract programmers on relevant programming skills to build team capability. - Participate in Disaster Recovery activities, including simulation exercises at recovery sites. - Acquire new programming skills and perform other tasks related to system development as assigned. Required competencies and certifications: - Experience coding with Java, JSP, Servlet, Java Bean, JavaScript, session management, JDBC, and SQL for at least 3 years within the past 4 years. - Experience coding with HTML5, XHTML, AJAX, Web Services (REST API), JSON, Java Server Faces, and EJ for at least 2 years within the past 3 years.
