IT Project Manager
Job Summary
You'll own the delivery of software development projects from kickoff to launch while working closely with developers and translating between engineering teams and business stakeholders. Strong communication is at the heart of this position as you act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will manage end-to-end delivery, run Agile/Scrum ceremonies, and track timelines, budgets, scope, and risks.

About the Role

You'll work closely with developers, understand technical trade-offs, and translate between engineering teams and business stakeholders. Strong communication is at the heart of this position, as you'll be the main point of contact for clients and internal teams alike.
What You'll Do
- Plan, scope, and manage end-to-end delivery of web, mobile, or software development projects
- Run Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Act as the primary communication link between clients, stakeholders, and the development team
- Translate business requirements into clear user stories, tasks, and technical specifications
- Track timelines, budgets, scope, and risks, and proactively flag issues before they become blockers
- Engage in technical discussions with developers on architecture, estimates, and implementation approaches
- Prepare clear status reports and present progress updates to clients and leadership
- Manage change requests and keep project documentation current
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture
What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; you're confident leading client calls and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Positive attitude and ability to adapt to a startup culture
- Prior hands-on experience as a software developer (e.g., JavaScript, .NET, PHP, Python, Java, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience managing IT or software development projects
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, or similar
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience working with international clients or distributed teams
Nice to Have
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM, PSM, or PRINCE2
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices
- Experience in client-facing agency or outsourcing environments
