Job Summary

Onsolar is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Associate/Accounting Staff to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will handle general accounting, tax compliance, accounts management, and financial analysis to support business operations. They must possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Details

Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and general ledger entries. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports. - Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. - Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts. Accounts Management - Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). - Process supplier payments and customer collections. - Monitor outstanding receivables and coordinate payment follow-ups. - Assist in payroll processing and related accounting entries. Tax Compliance - Prepare and submit BIR reports and tax filings. - Ensure compliance with Philippine tax regulations and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies during audits and compliance reviews. Financial Planning & Analysis - Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. - Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. - Support management with financial reports and business performance analysis. Administrative & Operational Support - Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software and internal systems. - Organize accounting documents, contracts, invoices, and financial files. - Support branch operations by coordinating with Sales, Operations, and Head Office. - Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, and reporting procedures. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - CPA license is an advantage but not required. - At least 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance. - Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). - Knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR compliance. - Experience in preparing financial statements and month-end/year-end closing. - Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar systems. - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Professional communication and interpersonal skills. - Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Trustworthy, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
