Accounting Manager

Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. - Manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support the company’s financial objectives. - Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. - Supervise, mentor, and support accounting staff in their daily duties and responsibilities. - Assign tasks and projects, establish performance goals, and conduct performance evaluations for accounting team members. - Ensure compliance with all applicable tax regulations and requirements. - Identify and implement automation and process improvement initiatives to streamline financial operations. - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, cost-control opportunities, and potential areas for revenue enhancement. - Monitor accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. - Coordinate with internal departments and other stakeholders on financial and accounting matters. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or any four- to five-year course related to Accountancy. - At least 10 years of professional experience in Accounting/Accountancy. - At least 1 year of experience in Project Management. - At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role within Accounting/Accountancy. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, and internal controls. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead an accounting team effectively.
