Job Summary

The Accounting and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, including AP, AR, and GL, while ensuring compliance with PFRS, PAS, and BIR regulations. The role involves preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, and leading budget management systems. Candidates must be a CPA with significant leadership experience and proficiency in financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL)

Job Details

Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA required). - MBA preferred. - 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, with proven success in budget management and financial reporting. - Strong knowledge of PFRS, PAS, and BIR regulations. - Experience with budgeting/forecasting software is an advantage. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English & Filipino). - Strong leadership and team management experience. - Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques. - Amenable to work onsite at Escolta Street, Binondo, Manila. Responsibilities: Financial Operations & Reporting - Supervise daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL, financial reporting). - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS. - Ensure timely submission of tax filings and regulatory reports. Policy & Compliance - Develop and implement accounting policies aligned with PAS, PFRS, and BIR regulations. - Stay updated on changes in Philippine tax laws and accounting standards. - Oversee external audits with Philippine auditing firms. Budgeting & Forecasting - Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive budget management system. - Collaborate with department heads to prepare realistic budgets aligned with strategic goals.
