Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure transaction accuracy, and manage financial reporting. The ideal candidate will monitor accounts payable and receivable, review reconciliations, and assist with tax compliance and audits. Additionally, this role involves guiding accounting staff and improving internal controls and financial processes.
Responsibilities

Job Details
Supervise and monitor the daily activities of the Accounting team.
Review and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions and supporting documents.
Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, collections, and disbursements.
Review bank reconciliations, petty cash, and other account reconciliations.
Review journal entries and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor accounting schedules and ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities.
Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with other departments regarding invoices, payments, expenses, collections, and accounting concerns.
Review discrepancies and ensure proper investigation and resolution.
Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Prepare accounting reports and financial information required by management.
Assist the Accounting Manager in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and other financial activities.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies when necessary.
Assign tasks, monitor workload, and provide guidance to accounting staff.
Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting records and documents.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
