Role Description: The Accounting Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Parañaque. This role supports the finance and accounting team by recording daily transactions, updating ledgers, and assisting with the preparation and review of financial records. Responsibilities include processing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and helping prepare financial reports for internal use. The Accounting Assistant will also assist in maintaining organized documentation, using accounting software for data entry, and coordinating with operations and other departments to ensure accurate billing and cost allocations. Routine tasks include filing and archiving records, responding to accounting-related inquiries, and supporting monthly and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
1. Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Bookkeeping for accurate recording and monitoring of financial transactions.
2. Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Financial Statements to assist in preparing and understanding reports and analyses.
3. Candidates should possess skills in using Accounting Software to manage data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks efficiently.
4. Attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and a high level of accuracy in data handling.
5. Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and local financial regulations.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel and other standard office productivity tools.
7. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
8. Ability to manage time well, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
9. Preferred: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; experience in logistics or a similar industry is an advantage.
