Job Summary
Staffluence Resources, Inc. is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to be assigned in Mamplasan Binan City. The role involves assisting licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescribed medications, ensuring accurate product selection, and adhering to strict safety protocols. Candidates should have a relevant educational background with TESDA NC III certification or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications
- Ensure accurate product selection and verify batch numbers and expiry dates using FEFO
- Coordinate with pick and packers for accurate and efficient order preparation
- Adhere strictly to medication handling, storage, and safety protocols
- Report incidents, discrepancies, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel
Required Skills
- Graduate of any 4-year course with TESDA NC III (Pharmacy Services)
- Basic pharmacy operations and dispensing support knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
Job Details
QUALIFICATION:
- Graduate of any four (4) year course but with TESDA NC III (Pharmacy Services) is required
- With at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting is an advantage but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of basic pharmacy operations and dispensing support is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist licensed pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing prescribed medications.
- Assist with fulfillment by ensuring accurate product selection and verification of batch numbers and expiry dates, following the First-Expired, First-Out (FEFO) system.
- Coordinate with pick and packers to prepare orders accurately, efficiently and free from dispensing error.
- Strictly adhere to medication handling, storage and safety protocols at all times.
- Report any incidents, discrepancies, damaged products, or potential safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
