Job Details
The Accounting and Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire finance and accounting processes, responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, profit & loss reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure operational compliance with accounting principles, procedures and regulations.
- Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested.
- Prepare and maintain cash flow analysis.
- Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts in the monthly closing schedule.
- Check payroll and attachments, all government return and remittance reports.
- Check, approve and budget all disbursements.
- Develop and manage annual or multi-year budgets and budget forecasts that will be used by the management.
- Prepare monthly financial reports to management.
- Audit check vouchers and attachments.
- Assist accounting supervisor for work related concerns.
