Finance Accounting Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, manage reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry and hold a CPA qualification. This is a direct hire opportunity with a Monday to Friday work schedule.
Responsibilities

- Supervise staff performance and ensure timely, accurate outputs
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, payroll, financial reports, and company funds
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and government reporting requirements
Required Skills
- CPA qualification and Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance
- Minimum 10 years of Finance & Accounting experience (5 years in management)
- Experience in Freight Forwarding industry
- Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks

Primary Function
Oversees the Finance & Accounting Department, reporting directly to the Vice President & General Manager and President.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage finance and accounting operations, policies, and procedures.
- Supervise staff performance and ensure timely, accurate outputs.
- Monitor budgets, cash flow, payroll, financial reports, and company funds.
- Coordinate audits and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and government reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments and represent the company in external financial matters.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of Finance & Accounting experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the Freight Forwarding industry is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office and QuickBooks.
