RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensures financial records are accurate by comparing and aligning transactions across different accounts. They identify and resolve discrepancies, maintain data consistency, and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Compare and Match Transactions: Regularly compare and match financial transactions between internal records and external statements (e.g., bank statements) to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare Reconciliation Statements: Create and maintain reconciliation statements for different accounts, ensuring that all adjustments are accurately recorded.
- Resolve Reconciling Items: Address and resolve any reconciling items by coordinating with relevant departments or external entities.
- Document Reconciliation Processes: Maintain detailed documentation of reconciliation processes and outcomes for audit and review purposes.
- Review Financial Records: Thoroughly review financial records and documents to identify any errors or missing information.
- Monitor Reconciliation Quality: Continuously monitor the quality of reconciliations and suggest improvements to reduce errors.
