R&D Specialist
Job Summary
The Research & Development Specialist performs laboratory experiments and data analysis for product development. This role requires developing formulations, conducting stability tests, and supporting technical sales. Ideal candidates hold a degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry with relevant industry experience.

Job Details
Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of an R&D Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop formulations to demonstrate the benefits and applications of raw materials and technologies.
- Provide formulation guidance, and conduct critical formulation reviews.
- Prepare product prototype based on created formulation draft and conduct all required testing including stability test.
- Conduct stability testing and troubleshoot unstable formulas to ensure commercial feasibility.
- Develop and drive expert knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, new products to drive product innovation.
- Support technical sales team by providing formulated samples and materials.
- Perform other relevant tasks as may be assigned by the Immediate Head from time to time.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or a related course.
- At least two (2) years of working experience in the Cosmetics and Home Care Products Industry and other related fields is required for this position.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques including measuring, mixing, testing, and troubleshooting formulations.
- In-depth understanding of cosmetic regulations and safety requirements.
