Delivery Helper

Key Responsibilities Loading & Unloading: Manually load heavy sacks and blocks of ice from the production plant into delivery trucks and safely unload them at client locations. Logistics Assistance: Assist the driver with navigation, parking alignment, and managing delivery schedules to ensure on-time drop-offs. Inventory Control: Verify delivery receipts and invoices to ensure the correct quantity and type of ice are delivered to each customer. Quality Preservation: Ensure ice products are properly stacked, organized, and insulated inside the vehicle during transit to minimize melting. Customer Service: Act as a polite and professional representative of our company when interacting with store managers and clients; secure customer signatures upon delivery. Safety & Maintenance: Keep the delivery truck clean and organized to maintain food safety standards. Strictly wear required safety gear (heavy-duty gloves, boots). Qualifications Education: High School Graduate, ALS Graduate, or Vocational Diploma holder preferred. Experience: At least 6 months of experience in warehousing, delivery, or logistics is a plus, but open to fresh applicants with the right attitude. Physical Fitness: High stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads (30 to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift. Environment: Comfortable working in cold, damp, and slippery conditions. Traits: Trustworthy, punctual, and a strong team player. Willing to work early mornings, holidays, or flexible shifts.
