HR Benefits Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a US HR Benefits Administrator to manage and update employee records and benefits files while coordinating daily benefits processing. The ideal candidate will have experience with US benefits, Oracle HCM, and strong Excel proficiency. Responsibilities include advising employees on benefit programs, handling ticketing system inquiries, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Job Details
Non-Negotiable Skills:
- Working knowledge of HRIS, such as Oracle HCM
- Experience with US Benefits – HSA, US payroll deductions, arrears, refunds, before and after TAX
- Open Enrollment / Eligibility
- Health – Medical/Dental/Vision
- Benefits Matrix Codes interpretation
- Experience in Oracle
- Strong Excel proficiency/analysis
- Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records and benefits files
- Manage general inquiries and complaints via online ticketing system
- Coordinate daily benefits processing, including enrollments, terminations, and claims
- Advise and inform employees on the details of the company's benefit programs
- Utilize HRIS system and various tools to manage cases and resolve issues
- Take initiative and act proactively
- Demonstrate strong administration and documentation skills
- Assist with processing National Medical Support Notice inquiries and enrollments
- Assist with processing dependent verification documents
- Assist with various audits of benefits data and special projects as necessary
- Assist with weekly and monthly invoicing/payment processes
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Maintain attention to detail and be a team player
- Resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner
- Evaluate the efficiency and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with payroll to ensure employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and timely
- Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Benefits Administrator or similar role
- Knowledge of HRIS and HR processes, with understanding of downstream impacts of transactions on benefits, pay, and other areas
- Experience with Oracle preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Knowledge of benefit plans and compliance requirements
- Ability to take initiative and act proactively
- Strong administration and documentation skills
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
