Business Development Manager
Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will lead business presentations, client acquisition, and profitability strategies while managing end-to-end client engagement. They are responsible for P&L analysis, financial modeling, bidding, and supporting new outlet and branch developments. Additionally, the role oversees marketing campaigns, branding, and visual standards to ensure sales growth and operational readiness.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
A. Business Development, Client Acquisition & Profitability
Lead and conduct business presentations, pitch meetings, and negotiations for acquiring new outlets, branches, and accounts.
Manage end-to-end client engagement from inquiry to contract awarding.
Ensure all new business opportunities meet profitability, margin, and payback expectations.
Evaluate commercial terms and recommend go/no-go decisions based on financial viability.
B. Business Presentations, Bidding & P&L Analysis
Lead the preparation and presentation of business proposals, bid documents, and feasibility decks.
Develop or review projected P&L statements for new outlets, accounts, or bids.
Coordinate with Finance and Operations to validate costing assumptions.
Ensure bids reflect realistic pricing, sustainable margins, and operational capacity.
Analyze bid results and post-award performance versus projected P&L.
C. Outlet & Branch Development Support
Support the financial and operational planning of new outlets and branch expansions.
Assist in evaluating site feasibility, expected sales volume, and cost structure.
Participate in pre-opening planning, ensuring alignment between concept, budget, and projected P&L.
Support renovation projects by evaluating ROI, cost impact, and sales recovery timelines.
D. Marketing Campaigns & Sales Growth (P&L-Focused)
Plan and execute marketing campaigns aimed at increasing traffic and sales.
Evaluate campaign cost versus expected revenue uplift and margin impact.
Recommend promotional strategies that balance volume growth and profitability.
Coordinate with Marketing and Operations to align campaigns with outlet financial targets.
Monitor campaign performance and recommend corrective actions as needed
E. Branding & Visual Standards
Lead branding and visual execution for new outlet openings and renovations.
Ensure brand initiatives are cost-effective and aligned with approved budgets.
Oversee outlet look, signage, menus, packaging, and promotional materials.
Conduct brand audits and recommend enhancements that improve customer experience and sales.
C. New Outlet Opening & Standard Look Implementation
Lead and oversee the opening of new outlets, ensuring readiness from a business, branding, and customer-facing perspective.
Ensure every new outlet opens with the company’s approved standard look, including but not limited to:
Signage and storefront presentation
Menu boards and price displays
Product presentation and packaging
Uniforms and grooming standards
Promotional materials and opening collaterals
Develop and implement a New Outlet Opening Checklist covering branding, marketing, and visual requirements
Coordinate with Operations and Procurement to ensure on-time and compliant execution.
Conduct pre-opening site inspections to validate brand completeness and visual standards.
Sign off on outlet readiness from a brand and presentation standpoint prior to opening.
Document gaps and recommend improvements for future outlet launches.
