Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to lead the organization’s accounting operations and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial records while supporting business planning and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and month-end and year-end close.
- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee internal controls and recommend improvements to reduce risk and strengthen financial processes.
- Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, cost control, and business decisions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure confidentiality of financial information.
International Marketing Support
- Partner with international marketing teams to develop and monitor regional and country-level budgets.
- Track marketing expenses, campaign costs, and return on investment (ROI) across international markets.
- Review vendor, agency, and media contracts for budget alignment and appropriate financial controls.
- Monitor foreign-currency transactions and coordinate exchange-rate reporting for marketing activities.
- Support financial analysis of international campaigns, events, sponsorships, and market-entry initiatives.
- Help evaluate marketing performance by comparing actual spending and results against approved plans.
- Coordinate with regional teams to ensure timely expense reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with pricing, profitability, and cost analysis for products or services in different markets.
- Provide financial insights to help marketing leaders allocate resources effectively across regions.
- Work with tax and legal teams on cross-border payments, withholding taxes, and local compliance matters.
Qualifications
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounting or financial management; management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience with accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting international operations or working with multiple currencies is an advantage.
